FAQs:

Can I drop my dues off at a Board member's house?

No. There were too many checks lost, and the Board member can't be held responsible for lost checks. Please pay either online or by mail.

What if I didn't receive an email with login instructions?

If you haven't received login instructions via email, please email info@StonegateLaneHOA.com to request login instructions.

What happens if I don’t pay HOA dues?

If homeowners do not pay their dues on time, the HOA Board can collect late fees, penalties, and interest. These steps are necessary to keep the community’s budget on track.

A homeowner who continuously does not pay HOA fees will be declared delinquent. In extreme cases, the HOA can place a lien on the delinquent homeowner’s property or file for foreclosure to settle unpaid dues.

Will there be an assessment?

In the last annual neighborhood meeting, held at the end of September 2025, the vote passed to move forward with a special assessment of $1,700.00-$2,000.00 per lot (this can be divided into 12 monthly payments online) to chip seal the road. The estimates for the special assessment were based on the previous road committee's findings. The Board reserves the right to move forward with issuing a special assessment in 2026.

What are the benefits of living in an HOA community?

The HOA board ensures that homes and common areas are beautiful and well-maintained. As a result, homes in HOA communities typically enjoy higher and more stable property values. In an effort to increase or stabilize property values in the community, homeowners will have to abide by the rules and regulations written in the governing documents. These rules are outlined in the community’s covenants, conditions and restrictions (CCRs), By-laws, and declarations.
